As a former nanny, certified baby nurse, pre-school teacher and children’s book author, I build on a decade of experience working with and nurturing children. This has allowed me to be very sensitive to the needs of children and families. As a mother who had to leave my home and entrust the care of my young son to someone else, I truly understand the need to match the applicant with the right family. It is essential for the emotional and psychological well-being of children to foster an environment of respect, care and love within the household. As a former care-giver, I understand fully that mutual respect and open communication between a household employee and employer creates an atmosphere of trust and well-being for the entire family. My philosophy is that our home is like a performing stage and our children are the audience; children emulate what they see at home, so it is vital that respect and care are shown.
