How are your candidates screened?

Firstly, our candidates must provide us with proof of legal status in the United States, work permits, photo ID, and other pertinent information.

Our candidates then meet with one of our placement coordinators in a one-on-one interview, in which skill-testing and situational questions are posed, and past work experience and individual character is explored in detail. Our interviews focus on evaluating common sense, integrity and a true desire to work with children or the elderly. References are personally checked by our consultant, who verifies employment history and job responsibilities. Our consultants probe not only into the experience but also the personal character of the applicant. These interviews and reference checks are a fundamental part of ensuring the best possible match to you and your family.

How long does the hiring process take?

Hiring a can be accomplished within a matter of 1-3 weeks, however much of this will depend on your needs and your availability for interviews.

What happens if it doesn’t work out?

Why are some agencies free?

“The best things in life are free” doesn’t necessarily apply to nanny agencies. We understand the importance of our clients. Professional agencies such as Ultimate Domestics charge fees to employers for exemplary sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates. Agencies that do not charge the employers a fee for their service are charging fees to the applicants, and screening is often non-existent as their sole purpose is to provide a job (legitimate or otherwise) without regard for the needs of the family or the caregiver.
